The Electoral Commission is looking for accredited service providers to supply 16,000 enterprise tablet devices, each with a protective case and a carry case, for election-related activities. The tablets must meet specific technical requirements, and delivery must be completed within 60 days of receiving the purchase order. The equipment will be delivered to a warehouse near OR Tambo or the national office in Centurion.
Requirements
- OEM authorization to sell the product with OEM letter of proof.
- Three reference letters for similar tablet supply services in the past 5 years.
- Proof of device certifications (e.g., IP67, IP55).
- Letter of Authority (LOA) issued by NRCS.
- ICASA Type approval.
- IP67 certificate for the tablet.
- IP55 certificate for the device storage case.
- Shock and impact certificate (MIL-STD 810H or equivalent).
