Description
The City of Cape Town invites tenders for the supply and delivery of Bluetooth mobile printers and mobile device accessories for field officers. The contract will run for a period of thirty-six months. The scope includes providing thermal printers with specific technical ratings and various accessories such as chargers, rugged cases, and screen protectors for specified mobile devices. The equipment must be compatible with the City’s existing mobile applications. Bidders must meet a minimum functionality score of 60 out of 100, based on their experience, track record, and supply volume. Successful bidders will be required to provide a three-year warranty on printers and a six-month warranty on all other goods. All pricing must remain fixed for the duration of the contract.
Requirements
- Registered on CCT Supplier Database and National Treasury CSD
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN
- Proof of Public Liability and Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance
- Valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Commissioner
- PSiRA registration for all security personnel
- Audited financial statements for past 3 years if value exceeds R10 million
- Certificate of Authority for Partnerships, Joint Ventures, or Consortiums

How to apply: The tender must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the tender number and description. It must be physically deposited into Tender Box Number 228 at the Civic Centre, 12 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town, before the closing date of 3rd July 2026 at 10:00 am.
