Description
The Department of Water and Sanitation invites bids for the supply and delivery of 3,000 bags of 50kg CEMII/A-L 42.5N cement. The project is for the Mzimvubu Water Project access road near Maclear, Eastern Cape. The contract duration is nine months. All cement must be locally produced, meet SABS standards, and be delivered within 30 days of manufacture. Deliveries must be made to the Construction East Site Office. A compulsory site briefing will be held on 10 June 2026.
Requirements
- Attend compulsory site briefing session
- Valid Tax Compliance status via CSD
- Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database
- Active CIPC company registration
- Proof of 100% local production and content
- Manufacturer supply letter if bidder is not the manufacturer
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Notarially certified Joint Venture agreement if applicable
