Description
The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is seeking a service provider to conduct a quarterly Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Business Conditions Survey. This project covers all nine provinces of South Africa and targets contractors in Grades 3 to 8 across various construction sectors. The successful bidder will monitor key economic indicators, including business confidence, profitability, employment growth, and construction activity. Deliverables include quarterly reports, press releases, and stakeholder presentations. The contract duration is three years, with management meetings held at the CIDB head office in Centurion. Bidders must demonstrate expertise in economic research, possess relevant academic qualifications in Economics or related fields, and show a deep understanding of the CIDB register of contractors. The project aims to provide insights into the state of the construction industry and the broader economy.
Requirements
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance status
- Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Proof of relevant academic qualifications for key personnel
- Proof of valid professional indemnity insurance
