Security services for Umlazi Depot, eThekwini.

Description

This tender is for providing 24-hour security services, including access control and patrolling, at the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure's Umlazi depot in the eThekwini Region. The contract is for ten months. Key deliverables include access control, internal security, patrol duties, and site management. The closing date for submissions is 02 June 2026.

Requirements

• Owner/Director must have Grade A or B PSIRA certificate.
• Company must be registered with PSIRA.
• Registration with Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act (COIDA).
• Proof of registration with Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF).
• Proof of registration with Private Security Sector Provident Fund (PSSPF).
• Company must own at least one vehicle registered under the company name.
• Valid ICASA license for radio equipment or proof of registration with ICASA.
• B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or Sworn Affidavit.
• SARS PIN to verify tax status or a printed TCS certificate.
• CSD registration.
• Previous experience as a security company with at least three completed contracts (one with a minimum value of R1 million) within the last 5 years.
