Airports Company South Africa requires professional electrical engineering services for a generator replacement program at King Phalo Airport. The consultant will provide full engineering services, including design, documentation, site supervision, and commissioning. The project involves replacing radiators and installing a diesel tank for the airport's Scania generators. The consultancy is for two financial years, covering initiation, planning, design, implementation, and supervision.
Requirements
- Provide SARS PIN or CSD number for tax compliance before bidding.
- B-BBEE certificate/affidavit required before bidding.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance Cover of R 5 Million required.
- Public Liability Insurance Cover for R10 Million required.
- Comply with Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act.
- Valid COID Fund letter of good standing or approved alternative required.
- Construction Manager appointment (CR8) submitted 7 days before work.
- OHS Act role appointments submitted 3 days before work.
- Valid medical certificate of fitness for construction work required.
- Health and Safety Representative(s) elected and trained (if >20 employees).
- Baseline audiometric test for employees exposed to noise >= 85 dB(A).
