Description
Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager is requesting quotes for the refurbishment of a 500KVA distribution transformer at various 11KV substations. This includes six substations in the VHD East area and one 20MVA, 25KV traction substation in Iswepe. A compulsory clarification meeting will be held on 25 May 2026, and the closing date for submissions is 01 June 2026.
Requirements
- Attend compulsory clarification meeting and submit the Certificate of Attendance.
- CIDB registration of 3EP or higher.
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate and TCS PIN required before bidding.
- Valid B-BBEE Certificate or sworn affidavit required before bidding.
- Valid CIDB CRS Number.
- Registration on the Central Supplier Database required before bidding.
- Letter of Good Standing with the Workmen’s Compensation Fund.
- Valid ISO 9001 certification.
- Not listed on Register of Tender Defaulters or Transnet's restricted list.
