Description

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is inviting tenders for the supply and delivery of Turbine Turbovisory equipment and field instrumentation to the Grootvlei Power Station. This is a five-year contract awarded on an 'as and when required' basis. The scope includes providing various technical components such as vibration monitors, speed sensors, displacement sensors, and overspeed monitoring modules. Bidders must ensure all supplied items are compatible with existing turbine control systems and meet Eskom’s quality and safety standards. The project requires the successful contractor to manage logistics, maintain quality control, and adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations. The tender process involves a technical evaluation where bidders must achieve a minimum score of 70% to qualify. The contract follows the NEC3 Supply Contract framework, and bidders are expected to provide a comprehensive pricing schedule for the listed equipment.
