Description
The Department of Agriculture, Eastern Cape, invites bids for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 300kVA three-phase diesel backup generator. The project is located at Seven Stars Dairy in the Amathole District. Key deliverables include installing cabling, distribution boards, earthing, and lightning protection, alongside excavation work and system demonstrations. The contractor must also provide maintenance for one year. The project duration is 10 weeks, and a compulsory site inspection is scheduled for 9 June 2026. Bidders must demonstrate technical capacity and provide references for similar completed projects.
Requirements
- Valid CIDB registration of 2EB or higher
- Active registration on National Treasury CSD
- Valid Tax Compliance Status
- Qualified Electrician with 3-phase wireman license
