Description
PetroSA is seeking a professional training service provider to deliver Offshore Lifeboat Coxswain training for 14 delegates. The training will be split into two separate sessions to accommodate shift workers. The work must take place at the service provider’s own premises, which must include access to a lifeboat at sea for practical exercises. Key deliverables include the provision of all course materials, presentation equipment, and the issuance of formal certificates to all delegates who successfully complete the theoretical and practical assessments. The curriculum covers essential safety topics such as lifeboat launching, hook release systems, radio communication, and emergency recovery procedures. The training dates will be scheduled by mutual agreement between PetroSA and the appointed provider.
Requirements
- Registered on the National Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid B-BBEE certification
- Accreditation for offshore training
- Capability to conduct practical lifeboat exercises at sea
- Ability to issue formal, compliant course certificates
