Description
Transnet National Ports Authority needs a service provider to assess the condition of tugs, pilot boats, and workboats in Cape Town, Ngqura, Durban, and Richards Bay. The assessment should include a detailed report, method statement, and cost estimates for repairs. The project is for six months. A non-compulsory briefing will be held on 18 May 2026, and site inspections from 19-22 May 2026. The closing date is 04 June 2026.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 SAMSA approved Master (open ticket) required.
- Valid Class 1 or 2 SAMSA approved Chief Engineer (open ticket) required.
- CSD registration required before bidding.
- B-BBEE certificate or affidavit required before bidding.
- Tax compliance and SARS PIN submission required before bidding.
