Description

The Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) invites consultants to develop and draft five Protected Area Management Plans and five Annual Operational Plans for sites within the Addo-Amathole Biodiversity Node. The project involves extensive stakeholder engagement with local communities and landowners, requiring proficiency in both English and isiXhosa. The work must align with the National Environmental Management Protected Areas Act. The contract duration is ten months, starting 1 August 2026 and concluding by 30 June 2027. This project is funded by the World Bank.

Requirements

  • Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN
  • Proven relevant project experience via appointment and reference letters
  • Minimum 70% completion rate on existing ECPTA contracts
  • Compliance with World Bank Anti-Corruption Guidelines
