Description
This tender is for the removal of invasive plants at intermediate and high altitude sites, including those requiring rope access. The work will take place within the City of Cape Town and adjacent areas. The contract runs from July 1, 2027, to June 30, 2030. The successful bidder must control terrestrial woody and herbaceous alien plants using specified methods.
Requirements
- Registered on CCT Supplier Database.
- Registered on National Treasury CSD.
- SARS tax compliance and valid Tax Compliance Status PIN required.
- Valid Health and Safety qualification required.
- Valid Chainsaw/brush cutter operator certificate required.
- Valid PCO Certificate for Industrial Vegetation/Noxious Weeds required.
- Valid driver’s license with valid PrDP required.
- Herbicide application training required.
- Valid chipper operator certificate required.
- Wilderness Rope Access training or equivalent required.
- Advanced Wilderness First Aider course or equivalent required.
- NQF Level 6 qualification in relevant field required.
- PSiRA registration required for security staff.
- Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act registration/insurance required.
