Description
Transnet Port Terminals is seeking a service provider to supply and operate dust suppression water cannon spray trucks at the Richards Bay terminal. The project requires the use of trucks with a minimum 8,000-liter capacity and high-pressure spray systems to manage dust across various storage areas. The contract duration is two months, requiring 24-hour operations, seven days a week. The service provider must ensure equipment reliability, provide technical backup, and manage qualified operators. Transnet will supply the necessary fuel and chemicals for the operation. The work is scheduled to begin following the tender closing date of 02 June 2026.
Requirements
- Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN
- Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Approved safety file
- Medical fitness certificates for all employees
- Valid operator licenses for all equipment
