Description
Broadband Infraco SOC Ltd invites service providers to bid for the calibration and repair of specialized telecommunications test equipment. The contract duration is twelve months. The work involves calibrating various units, including OTDRs, OLTS, and Ethernet testers, and performing repairs on fusion splicers and inspection probes. Service providers must issue calibration certificates, provide repair reports with quotes, and offer loan equipment if repairs exceed ten days. The equipment is located across fifteen regional offices, including Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Port Elizabeth. Bidders must demonstrate the logistical capacity to service these locations. All work must align with manufacturer specifications for EXFO and Sumitomo equipment. The closing date for submissions is 04 June 2026 at 12:00.
Requirements
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate and SARS PIN
- Full Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
- Valid B-BBEE certificate, sworn affidavit, or exemption letter
- Proof of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) compliance
- Must not be listed on National Treasury restricted suppliers or defaulters list
