Repair and Refurbishment of Ezibomvu Gravel Road.

Description

Abaqulusi Local Municipality needs a contractor to repair and refurbish the Ezibomvu gravel road in Ward 14. The road is 1km long and 5.5m wide. Work includes site clearance, roadbed preparation, cut and fill, layer works, stormwater drainage, culvert pipes, headwalls, inlets, outlets, and road signs. The project must be completed within 18 weeks.

Requirements

• CIPC registration required.
• Valid SARS tax clearance pin/certificate required.
• CSD registration with MAAA supplier reference number required.
• CIDB grading of 3 CE or higher with CRS number and Letter of Good Standing required.
• Workman’s Compensation Registration Certificate required.
• Minimum NQF Level 7 Degree in Civil Engineering/Project Management with relevant experience required.
• Minimum NQF Level 5 Diploma in Civil Engineering/Project Management with relevant experience required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing construction of civil or roads projects required.
• Contractor must have successfully completed at least 5 surfaced roads projects.
• Tenderer must own key plant and equipment (TLB, tip truck, grader, mixer, sprayer, roller).
• Developed enterprise equity holding must not exceed 20%.
• CIDB registration >1 (GB, CE, ME and EB) required.
