Description
The Eastern Cape Department of Transport is seeking a service provider for network equipment and cabling services across 55 departmental sites. This project covers various locations, including traffic stations, district offices, and government garages throughout the Eastern Cape. Key deliverables include the installation of network cabling, fibre optics, and infrastructure such as cabinets and patch panels. The scope also requires the supply of UPS units and hardware like switches, routers, and wireless access points. The contract will run for a period of 36 months. Equipment must be delivered within 4 to 8 weeks, and installation must be completed within one month of receiving a purchase order. All hardware must include an Original Equipment Manufacturer warranty, and installation work requires a three-month warranty.
Requirements
- Must hold SITA accreditation (RFB 2003/2014 or RFB 1183/2022)
- Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Must provide a valid Tax Compliance Status PIN
- Must meet 90% local content threshold for cables and plugs
- Must provide evidence of relevant previous project experience
- Must provide credentials for all key project personnel
- Must provide signed JV agreement and consolidated B-BBEE certificate if applicable
