Description
The Eastern Cape Department of Transport invites bids for the supply, delivery, and implementation of road marking services and the installation of permanent road signage. This project will be carried out across various locations in the Eastern Cape Province over a period of thirty-six months. The scope of work includes site establishment, manufacturing and erecting road signs, applying retro-reflective road markings, and installing road studs. The successful bidder will support the Department’s in-house construction teams. This is a re-measurement contract where work will be assigned through specific work packages. The tender closing date is 26 June 2026.
Requirements
- Valid CIDB contractor grading of 5 SK or higher
- Active CSD registration with valid tax compliance status
- Proof of two similar road projects valued at R2.5 million each
- Construction Manager: National Diploma in Civil Engineering and 5 years experience
- Health and Safety Officer: SACPCMP registered with 3 years experience
