Description
The Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) is seeking to appoint a panel of co-sourced internal audit service providers for a 36-month contract. The work will be performed at the CSIR Campus in Pretoria. The selected panel will provide assurance and advisory services, including financial, operational, compliance, IT, and project audits, as well as data analytics. Key deliverables include the development of audit engagement plans, regular progress reports, final audit reports, and working papers. Additionally, the service provider must implement a customized data analytics training program and provide mentorship for 7 internal audit staff members over the 3-year period. The tender is divided into three categories: Category A for general assurance and advisory, Category B for ICT audits, and Category C for project audits. Bidders must submit their proposals by 23 June 2026 at 11:00.
Requirements
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid Tax Compliance status (SARS PIN)
- Formal accreditation with the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIASA)
- Project Leader must hold Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification
- Valid B-BBEE status verification certificate or sworn affidavit
- Firm and personnel must hold Confidential level security clearance
