Description
The JB Marks Local Municipality in the North West Province is seeking a panel of service providers to supply plant and equipment on an as-and-when required basis. This contract will run for a period of twelve months. The scope of work involves providing various machinery, including motor graders, water tankers, asphalt pavers, and TLBs, along with qualified operators. Successful bidders must ensure all equipment is well-maintained, insured, and available for prompt call-outs. Additionally, contractors are required to subcontract a portion of the work to local SMMEs within the relevant wards. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience in road construction and meet a technical functionality threshold of 80%.
Requirements
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN
- Valid CIDB registration
- Valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Commissioner
- Proof of ownership or lease for all required plant and equipment
- Staff qualifications, CVs, and medical fitness certificates
