Supply and Delivery of Aluminium Materials to SAAO.

Description

This tender is for the supply and delivery of aluminium materials to the South African Astronomical Observatory (SAAO) in Cape Town. The contract will be for three years. The supplier must provide various aluminium grades for telescope and scientific instrument components. Delivery must be on-demand within 5-7 working days.

Requirements

• Three client reference letters from the past three years, including project value.
• Proof of material source and certificate confirming compliance with quality grade 6082-T6.
• Not be on National Treasury’s Restricted Suppliers or Tender Defaulters list.
• CSD registration required, including ownership, structure, directors, and tax compliance.
• Insurance coverage: 3% of contract value or R 2 million for liability/indemnity.
• Tax compliance and submission of SARS PIN or TCS certificate required.
• Consortia/JV/sub-contractors must submit separate TCS certificate/PIN/CSD number.
