Description
The Metropolitan Tech Company (MTC) is seeking a service provider for the provision of Non-SAP business application development and support services. This contract will run for a period of 36 months. The work will take place in Johannesburg and involves three main categories: providing 24/7 application support and maintenance, managing design and development projects through a 'basket of hours' model, and handling the renewal of critical software licenses. Key deliverables include daily system health checks, regular performance reporting, user training, and the implementation of strategic smart city initiatives. The service provider must ensure continuous monitoring of applications and provide support during core business hours. Bidders must demonstrate extensive experience in application development within a large South African metropolitan municipality and provide a contactable reference from a similar client.
Requirements
- Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid Tax Compliance Status Pin
- Municipal account not in arrears for over 90 days
- Mandatory 30% subcontracting to designated EME/QSE groups
- Attendance at the compulsory briefing session
- Audited financial statements for the past three years
- Minimum functionality score of 80/100 points
