Description
The CSIR seeks proposals from qualified SMMEs to provide Technical Research and Development (R&D) Support in building Cyber Defence Capabilities. The Defence and Security Cluster needs R&D expertise to support cybersecurity projects and maintain existing capabilities. Expertise is required in areas like software engineering, web development, cybersecurity, mobile app development, AI, and technical report writing. The work will be done for a period ending 31 August 2028.
Requirements
- Valid SARS PIN for tax status verification required before bidding.
- CSD registration and unique registration reference number required before bidding.
- B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit required before bidding.
- Company registration certificate required before bidding.
- Armscor security clearance or undertaking to obtain it (if required).
