Stellenbosch Municipality invites bids for the operation and maintenance of landfill gas extraction infrastructure and emission reduction advisory services. The project involves managing wellfields, flare compounds, and ICT systems to optimize gas extraction and carbon credit generation. The contractor must provide 24/7 emergency response, perform annual staff training, and manage carbon project registration. Work will take place at the Stellenbosch Landfill site until 30 June 2029. Key deliverables include monthly performance reports, maintenance of infrastructure availability, and carbon tax advisory services. Bidders must demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in landfill gas systems and carbon advisory projects.
Requirements
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid SARS tax compliance status
- Proof of no municipal arrears exceeding three months
- Valid Compensation Commissioner Letter of Good Standing
- Attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
