Description
The Eskom Kusile Power Station is located in Mpumalanga Province. Eskom aims to construct a 60-Year Ash Disposal Facility (ADF) to handle ash produced over the power station's 60-year design life. The ADF's footprint will cause wetland loss, requiring interventions in Environmental Management Units A, B, F, and G, and the Klipfonteinspruit. The contractor will execute works as described in the Technical Specification to meet Eskom's project objectives.
Requirements
- Pest Control Operator certification as per Act 36 of 1947 required.
- Construction Manager must be SACPCMP registered.
- Safety Officer must be SACPCMP registered.
- Full-time Health and Safety Officer must be SACPCMP registered as CHSM/CHSO.
- EO must have relevant diploma/degree and 4+ years construction/wetlands experience.
- SANAS accredited laboratory required for all site quality control tests.
