Description

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd invites tenders for the supply and delivery of bolts, nuts, washers, and industrial fasteners to the Matimba Power Station. This contract will run for a period of 60 months on an as-and-when-required basis. The work involves sourcing materials that meet strict SANS, ISO, and ASTM standards, along with proper labelling, packaging, and logistics. The successful bidder must ensure timely delivery to the site and provide all necessary material technical data sheets and quality certificates. The project is governed by the NEC3 Supply contract. Bidders must demonstrate technical capability by scoring at least 70% in the functional evaluation, which includes proving experience through previous bulk supply orders. The contract includes price adjustment mechanisms for inflation over the five-year duration.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Must provide proof of 100% local content for bolts and nuts
• Must have valid SARS Tax Compliance status
• Must have a documented ISO 9001 Quality Management System
• Must provide proof of three bulk supply orders within five years
• Must provide a letter of intent from a registered manufacturer or supplier
• Must have an approved OHS Plan and Letter of Good Standing
• Must provide audited financial statements for the previous 18 months
• Must comply with the Employment Equity Act
• Must provide a valid Joint Venture agreement if applicable
