Description
Rand Water is seeking bids for physical security services at its sites for five years. The services include static guarding, access control, mobile patrols, incident monitoring, emergency response, and protection of infrastructure. The successful bidder will provide armed and unarmed security officers, dog handlers, and supervisors across multiple regions. The tender includes a provisional sum of R1,000,000.00 per region for ad hoc services.
Requirements
- Valid Department of Labour Letter of Good Standing required.
- Valid PSIRA Letter of Good Standing and registration certificate required.
- Company Director(s) must have valid PSIRA registration certificates.
- Valid Letter of Good Standing from NBC for Private Security Sector required.
- Valid company ICASA radio license or signed lease agreement required.
- Minimum R10 million Public Liability Insurance required.
- Dog Handlers: valid PSIRA/SASSETA training certificate and SAQA unit standards.
- Valid PSIRA registration required for bidder and all deployed security officers.
- Armed personnel: firearms stored in SANS 953-compliant safes/strongrooms.
