Description
The Eastern Cape Department of Public Works & Infrastructure invites bids for an accredited training institution to provide artisan and youth development training. The project covers trades including bricklaying, carpentry, electrical engineering, painting, plumbing, and welding. The successful provider will deliver basic and intermediate training, recognition of prior learning, and trade test preparation over a one-year period. Training must occur at the provider's own premises, with all materials and manuals supplied by the institution. All programmes must align with SAQA standards. The provider is responsible for submitting detailed training reports, attendance records, and photographic evidence upon completion. The closing date for this tender is 17 June 2026.
Requirements
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or certificate
- QCTO accreditation for workshops and trade testing
- Proof of physical workshop address
- Relevant SETA accreditation (CETA, EWSETA, or merSETA)
- Accreditation certificates for assessors
