Supply and Maintenance of UTP Cabling Services

Description

This tender is for the supply, installation, and maintenance of Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cabling. This will be done on an as-and-when-required basis. The contract starts from the date of the award and lasts until 30 June 2029. The work includes project planning, installation, testing, quality assurance, and maintenance of network cabling, points, patch panels, and related equipment.

Requirements

• CSD registration required before bidding.
• No municipal arrears for more than three months or payment arrangement proof.
• CIDB registration required if applicable.
• Proof of Light Delivery Vehicle (LDV) ownership or lease agreement.
• Technician: OEM Certificate in Structured/UTP Cabling and 2 years experience.
• Assistants: OEM Certificate in Structured/UTP Cabling and 1 year experience.
• Passport and valid working permits for foreign nationals (if applicable).
• SAQA accreditation for foreign qualifications (if applicable).
• Relevant professional registrations in good standing.
• Access to R500,000 credit/financing or proof of available funds.
• Reference letter confirming UTP project experience with 100+ network points.
• Registration with Compensation Commissioner and Letter of Good Standing.
• First aid certificate, Public Liability and Commercial Insurance Certificate.
• Certificates of relevant Training.
