Intelligent Security and Monitoring System for Pilot Project

Description

Eskom is seeking tenders for the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of an intelligent security and substation plant monitoring system for a pilot project in the Cape Coastal Cluster (Eastern and Western Cape). The project includes server infrastructure, monitors, and hardware for a fully operational solution. The service period is 24 months from the completion of the installation.

Requirements

• Valid tax clearance certificate required from foreign/local tenderers not on CSD.
• CSD registration required (CSD number/CSD Report).
• COIDA certificate of good standing or proof of application required.
• Company must demonstrate commitment to pollution prevention and compliance to environmental legislation.
• Safety officer must have SACPCMP registration CR (8.5).
• Supervisor must have CR (8.7) registration.
• Assistant Supervisor must have CR (8.8) registration.
• Valid Letter of Good Standing (COIDA or equivalent) required.
• SANAS accredited BBBEE certificate or valid sworn affidavit required for EME/QSE level 1 to 2.
• Tenderer must have a Tenderers CIDB registration number.
• Contractor must adhere to Eskom's Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS).
• All earthing shall comply with the latest revision of D-DT-5240.
• Network architecture must comply with Eskom's Network Architecture standard (240-81321219).
• Security lighting must comply with Eskom's standard 240-139282493 and relevant SANS standards.
• Design of lighting foundations must comply with Eskom's standard D-DT-5217.
• Environmental authorisations and approvals shall be acquired to the satisfaction of Eskom.
