Coastal Stormwater Infrastructure Repairs in INK Region.

Description

This tender is for area-based infrastructure repairs as and when required for 36 months in the INK (Inanda, Ntuzuma & KwaMashu Areas) region of eThekwini Municipality. The work involves civil engineering construction to address urgent or emergency situations like weather damage, flooding, erosion, and structural failures. The contract is issued by the Coastal Stormwater and Catchment Management Services. The project aims to have qualified contractors available for immediate response to infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• Mandatory Section 37(2) OHS Act agreement with the Client.
• Proof of good standing with COIDA Commissioner or Mutual Association.
• Appoint a full-time competent person as the construction manager.
• Construction Safety Officer must be registered with SACPCMP.
• Employees must have valid medical certificate of fitness.
• Appoint competent person to supervise stacking and storage.
• Traffic controllers must have necessary competency.
• Appoint Competent Person.
• Appoint Competent Rigger.
• Appointed Designer.
• Appointed Radiation Protection Officer.
