Demolition of Weather Mast at Matimba Power Station

Description

Eskom is tendering for the demolition of a weather mast at Matimba Power Station. A compulsory clarification meeting will be held on May 20, 2026. The deadline for tender submission is June 1, 2026. The tender validity period is 90 days from the closing date.

Requirements

• CIDB registration under Specialist Works (WS) category, Grade 3 or higher.
• Proof of CSD registration required before bidding.
• Valid Letter of Good Standing with Compensation Commissioner (COID) or equivalent.
• Valid ISO 9001:2015 Certificate or proof of compliant Quality Management System.
• Valid proof of required CIDB grading designation for main/sub-contractor.
• Proof of valid and current CSD Registration (CSD number/CSD Report).
• Original COIDA certificate of good standing or proof of application.
• SACPCMP Registered OHS professional required.
• Provide load test certificates for winches or cranes with a SWL > 10 Ton.
• Provide a list of trained and certified employees having rope technician/access.
• Contractor supervisor needs authorization as Responsible Person in Eskom's Permit to Work system.
• QMS shall carry a valid ISO 9001 certificate from an accredited certification body.
• Personnel for special processes must be qualified and registered with statutory bodies if required.
