Description
The Free State Department of Social Development is seeking travel management companies to provide air travel, car hire, shuttle services, and accommodation. This contract covers both domestic and international travel for a period of three years, with an option to extend for one additional year. The department intends to appoint at least five service providers. Key deliverables include 24/7 emergency support, visa assistance, and the provision of three price comparisons for every booking. Service providers must manage financial accounts and provide detailed electronic reports. The successful bidders must maintain a fully operational office within the Free State province to support the department.
Requirements
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN
- Accredited with ASATA and IATA or valid third-party IATA agreement
- Business premises located in the Free State
- Evidence of financial capacity
- Proven relevant experience via reference and completion certificates
- Formal Joint Venture or Consortium agreement if applicable
