Description
PetroSA needs suppliers to provide and deliver Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) via isotainers to the Mosselbay terminal. This is to re-establish LPG supply to the Southern, Western, and Eastern Cape after the Gas-to-Liquids refinery stopped operations. The supplier will handle sourcing, isotainer provision, logistics, and delivery. Initial supply is 2,000 – 3,000 metric tons per month, increasing to 5,000 – 8,000 metric tons based on demand. Delivery is at PetroSA’s Mossel Bay terminal.
Requirements
- LPG must meet South African standards.
- Isotainers must meet ISO, UN T75, and IMDG standards.
- Comply with national road traffic regulations for dangerous goods transport.
- Secure SANRAL permits and route approvals.
- Vehicles, operators, and drivers must be licensed for hazardous goods.
- Must have permits/licenses for handling and transporting LPG.
- Customs and importation compliance required.
- Comply with port authority requirements.
- Valid pressure vessel certification and inspection records required.
