Description
The City of Johannesburg (JMPD) needs a service provider for scrap baling services for up to 12 months. The service provider will prepare vehicles for scraping, remove hazardous materials, compact loose items, and transport vehicles. The service provider must compensate the City based on a fee per kilogram.
Requirements
- B-BBEE certificate or Sworn Affidavit required before bidding.
- Original Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS One-Time Pin Code required before bidding.
- SETA accreditation certificate required (if applicable).
- Health Certificate required for catering suppliers (if applicable).
- CIDB Registration required for construction/building maintenance (if applicable).
- Compliance with National Environmental Management: Waste Act No.59 of 2008.
- Letter from the Compensation Commissioner (COID) required.
- Proof of safe disposal certificates of scrap metals and hazardous waste.
- Proof of calibration certificates of weighbridge facility as per SANS 1649:2011.
- Proof of ownership of mobile bailers.
- Proof of certificate indicating the Kilopascal (KPA) for each mobile baler.
