Description
The Eastern Cape Department of Agriculture is updating its database of Mechanisation contractors for three years, ending in 2026. The department invites companies that provide mechanization services such as ploughing, planting, spraying, and ripping. A non-compulsory site inspection will be held on 29 May 2026. The closing date for submissions is 22 June 2026.
Requirements
- CSD registration required before bidding.
- Compliant tax status according to CSD required before bidding.
- Provide details of company experience.
- Provide mechanisation equipment details.
- Registration as a service provider is required.
- Proof of Farm or Mechanisation Equipment ownership required.
- Signed lease agreement if mechanisation equipment is not owned.
- Disclosure of experience in mechanization services.
- Proof of equipment ownership by service provider.
