Maintenance of Fire Protection System at Hendrina Power Station

Description

This tender is for the maintenance of the fire protection system at Hendrina Power Station for 5 years. The work includes inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire water mains, tanks, diesel engines, pumps, deluge and sprinkler systems, and passive fire protection. The contractor must attend meetings and plan maintenance schedules with Eskom.

Requirements

• Valid B-BBEE certificate or Sworn Affidavit required before bidding.
• Provide portable 380V electrical distribution boards with compliance certificates.
• Environmental Authorisations, Permits, and Licences required before bidding.
• Site Manager: Technical National Diploma (NQF 6) with 5 years’ experience.
• Artisan Fitter: N3 technical qualification and Trade test with 3 years’ experience.
• Diesel Mechanic: N3 technical qualification and Trade test with 3 years’ experience.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) number required before bidding.
• COIDA certificate of good standing or proof of application required before bidding.
• Employment Equity Act compliance proof required before bidding (if applicable).
• Tax clearance certificate required from foreign/local tenderers before bidding (if applicable).
• Valid proof of required CIDB grading designation required before bidding.
• All fire system personnel must have deluge system training and be competent.
