Description
This tender is for the upgrade of the 11kV Koster Switching Substation in the Kgetlengrivier Local Municipality. The project includes replacing primary plant equipment, upgrading the protection system, repairing the control building, replacing the battery bank and charger, designing and installing a new security system. The bid closes on June 9, 2026.
Requirements
- CIDB registration of 6EP or higher is required.
- Electrical Engineer must be registered with ECSA (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech Eng).
- Experience in electrical substation projects (min. R3,000,000.00 per project).
- Valid original tax clearance certificate required.
- Valid B-BBEE certificate required.
- CSD registration (full report) required.
- Wayleave approval from North West Roads Agency required for cable work.
- Site supervisors must attend a 4-day Municipality specific course.
