Leasing of X-ray scanners and metal detectors for WRC.

Description
The Water Research Commission invites bids for the three-year lease of two X-ray baggage scanners and two walk-through metal detectors. The work will take place at the WRC premises in Lynnwood, Pretoria. The service provider is responsible for the full supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the equipment. Additionally, the provider must offer ongoing maintenance, technical support, and staff training for the duration of the contract. The project concludes with the decommissioning and removal of the units. A compulsory site visit is scheduled for 9 June 2026.
Requirements
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid CIPC company registration documents
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Hazardous Substances Act license for X-ray equipment
- SABS-registered technicians for X-ray servicing
- Evidence of three similar past or current contracts
