The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) is seeking two contractors to provide plumbing maintenance services on an as-and-when-required basis. The work will take place at railway station platforms, offices, buildings, rental properties, and workshops across the South Gauteng Region. The contract will last for a period of 24 months. Key deliverables include performing both planned and corrective plumbing repairs, maintaining site records, providing detailed service reports with photographic evidence, and ensuring all work meets SABS and municipal standards. Contractors must be available 24/7 to respond to emergency plumbing issues within three hours, urgent issues within five hours, and non-urgent tasks within 24 hours. The project requires the management of multiple sites simultaneously and the submission of all necessary statutory documentation upon completion of tasks. All work must comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993.

- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
