Description
Transnet Freight Rail invites bids for the supply, delivery, and installation of 120m to 150m of horizontal directional pipe drilling at the Koedoespoort Transnet Engineering Depot. This project involves refurbishing an underground bulk water line, including excavation, CCTV leak detection, HDPE pipe installation, welding, pressure testing, and site restoration. The contract follows the NEC3 Engineering and Construction format. The work must be completed by the appointed contractor, who is responsible for all labor, materials, and equipment. The tender closes on 22 June 2026 at 10:00 am. All work must be performed according to the specified technical and safety standards provided by Transnet.
Requirements
- Valid CIDB registration of 1CE or higher
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate and TCS PIN
- Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Valid Letter of Good Standing with the Workmen Compensation Fund
- Certified welder qualifications and drilling procedures
- Documented quality management system
- Valid medical certificates and legal appointments for personnel
