Description

Airports Company South Africa seeks an electrical contractor for preventative and corrective maintenance on the power reticulation network at Cape Town International Airport for 5 years. The work covers MV and LV equipment, ensuring electrical compliance and maintaining infrastructure according to regulations. The contractor will maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and power factor correction units.

Requirements

  • Active CIDB contractor grading of 4EB or higher.
  • Valid letter of good standing with the Workers Compensation Commissioner.
  • Ownership/agreement for critical plant and equipment must be confirmed.
  • Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
  • Tax matters must be declared in order with SARS.
  • Foreign/technical qualifications must be SAQA or CETA/SETA-approved.
