Description
Transnet Property invites bids for the supply and installation of prestressed perimeter concrete wall panels and galvanized high-tensile gates at the Kaserne Park Precinct in Johannesburg. The project includes site clearance, excavation, concrete foundation work, and the installation of 3,000 meters of security walling and specialized steel toppings. The contractor is responsible for the removal of existing fencing and the installation of double sliding gates. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months. Bidders must provide a detailed project plan and adhere to strict local content requirements for all materials used. The tender is valid for 12 weeks from the closing date. All queries must be submitted via the Transnet e-Tender portal by 10 June 2026. The work requires professional oversight, including a registered Construction Project Manager and a Safety Officer. Requirements
- Valid CIDB registration of 6SQ or higher
- SACPCMP registration for Project Manager and Safety Officer
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate and TCS PIN
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid Letter of Good Standing (Workmen Compensation Fund)
- Three years of audited financial statements
