Description
City Power Johannesburg (SOC) Ltd is seeking a service provider for comprehensive Waste Management Services (Bid No: 2634S). The scope of work covers the identification, segregation, collection, transportation, and disposal of various waste streams, including general, hazardous, medical, e-waste, and construction debris. Services are required across all City Power sites, including depots, substations, and offices. The successful bidder must provide specialized equipment, such as compactor and skip loader trucks, and implement a waste management plan. The contract requires adherence to strict environmental standards and monthly reporting. The closing date for submissions is 30 June 2026 at 11:00.
Requirements
- Valid hazardous waste management accreditation and disposal licenses
- Valid ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 certifications
- Valid COIDA certificate
- Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS Pin
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration
- Proof of municipal rates and taxes not older than 3 months
- Audited financial statements for the past three years
- Valid professional driving permits (PrDP-D) for transport personnel
- Vehicles must comply with SANS 10231 and Hazchem requirements
