Description
Transnet Dredging Services is seeking a service provider to clean tanks and bilges for its fleet, including the ILEMBE, ISANDLWANA, ITALENI, and MOHOMA vessels. The work will take place at the Port of Durban on an as-needed basis for a three-year period. Key tasks involve gas-freeing, de-greasing, pumping out oily water, and disposing of waste at approved sites. The provider must respond to service requests within six hours and ensure a safety officer is present during all operations. This contract is issued by Transnet National Ports Authority.
Requirements
- Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN
- Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Submit latest signed or audited financial statements
- Attendance at compulsory virtual briefing session
- Industry certifications for Project Supervisor and Health and Safety Officer
- Proof of access to approved hazardous waste disposal facilities
- Signed Joint Venture agreement if applicable
