Description
The South African Post Office (SAPO) needs a civil engineering service provider to assess and repair a cracked pillar at the Pietermaritzburg Post Office. The service provider will conduct a structural integrity assessment, identify weaknesses, and repair the damaged column. A registered structural engineer (ECSA) is required to oversee the project and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements. The final deliverable is a comprehensive structural integrity report, including concrete test cube results.
Requirements
- Valid SARS PIN or CSD number required for each consortium/JV member.
- CIDB registration required for category 2 CE (structural experience) with active status.
- COIDA registration in good standing required.
- ECSA registered Structural Engineer professional with active status required.
- ECSA accreditation in good standing required for all appointed resources.
- National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration required.
- SANAS accredited BEE Certificate OR Sworn Affidavit OR CIPC/DTI BBBEE Certificate required.
- Consolidated BBBEE certificate required for each joint venture/consortium member.
