Matimba Power Station Ash Plant Conveyor Upgrade.

Description

Eskom invites tenders for the Matimba Power Station Ash Plant Conveyor Drive Upgrade for 12 months. The project involves upgrading conveyor drives to dual 250kW drives and constructing a new conveyor head. A compulsory clarification meeting will be held on 25 May 2026. The closing date is 15 June 2026.

Requirements

• Provide valid proof of required CIDB grading designation.
• Provide proof of valid and current CSD Registration (CSD number/CSD Report).
• Provide COIDA - Original certificate of good standing or proof of application.
• Provide Valid ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation certificate.
• Provide proof of fleet or access to two D8 dozer with modified conveyer head.
• Provide proof of ECSA PrEng registration for conveyor head designers (Mechanical/Civil).
• Manufacturer must have local factory capable of MV induction motor repair/testing.
• Motor manufacturer must have 10+ years track record producing similar MV Motors.
• Safety Officer registered with SACPCMP
• Designs signed off by ECSA registered Professional Engineer in applicable discipline.
• Employees needing site access must have Police Clearance Report (SAP91).
• Employees must have South African Citizenship or valid workers permit.
