Provision of Remote Monitoring System for Traffic Signals

Description

This tender is for procuring a fully managed, cloud-hosted Traffic Signal Remote Monitoring System (TSRMS) for approximately 100 traffic signal intersections. The system should enable real-time monitoring and fault alerting. The contract period is 36 months. The location for the work is eThekwini Municipality.

Requirements

• Registered on eThekwini Municipality’s Supplier Portal.
• Valid CIDB Registration and Status.
• Valid B-BBEE certificate.
• Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN.
• Registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Proof of verifiable experience in similar projects within the past 10 years.
• Must have a software/electrical design engineer, project leader with 5-10 years’ experience.
• Must have a traffic signal controller and communications expert with 5-10 years’ experience.
• Registered and in good standing with the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Commissioner.
