Repair and Refurbishment of Khence Gravel Road.

Description

This tender is for the repair and refurbishment of the Khence (Ngenetsheni) gravel road in Ward 3. The road is 1km long and 5.5m wide. Work includes site clearance, roadbed preparation, cut to fill, layer works, stormwater drainage, culvert pipes and headwalls, culvert inlets and outlets structures, and road signs. The project is located in Vryheid. The tender is issued by Abaqulusi Local Municipality. The closing date is 13 June 2026.

Requirements

• CIDB Grading of 3 CE or Higher with CRS number and Letter of Good Standing.
• CSD registration required before bidding.
• Management/supervisory staff must have documented eligibility.
• Minimum NQF Level 7 Degree in Civil Engineering/Project Management with civil/roads project experience.
• Minimum NQF Level 5 Diploma in Civil Engineering/Project Management with civil/roads project experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing construction of general civil or roads projects.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing construction of general civil or roads projects.
• Evidence of at least 5 successfully completed surfaced roads projects.
• Evidence of at least 3-4 successfully completed surfaced roads projects.
• Detailed information on owned or hired key plant and equipment required.
• Bank Rating of A to C.
