Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd invites tenders for the supply and delivery of chemicals to various Peaking Power Stations on an as and when required basis. This contract will run for a period of 5 years. The scope includes the manufacturing, handling, packaging, and delivery of various industrial chemicals, oils, adhesives, and cleaning agents. Deliveries must be made to designated power stations during specified weekday hours. The contract is governed by the NEC3 Supply Contract (SC3) framework. Successful bidders must ensure all products meet strict safety and quality standards, including providing 16-point Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and adhering to specific shelf-life requirements. The tender process requires compliance with Eskom’s quality management specifications and OHS legal requirements. The closing date for submission is 07 July 2026 at 10h00.
Requirements
- Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid SARS tax compliance status PIN
- Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
- ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS certification
- Proof of vehicle fleet ownership or formal subcontracting agreement
- Audited annual financial statements
- Compliance with Eskom Life-Saving Rules and OHS Act
- Minimum 70% functionality threshold score
